“Dying?” Kovu gasped quietly. “But . . . no, you can’t be. . . .”
“It’s true,” Simba said with a small smile. “But don’t look like that, Kovu. I’ve lived a long life.”
Kovu averted his eyes, caught between shock and desperation, not wanting the grand old king to see either in his gaze.
“Kovu,” Simba commanded quietly. “Look at me.”
Reluctantly, the younger lion turned back to his adopted father.
“Kovu, I’ve lived a long life. But not only that, it has been a good life. I have seen my land, my pride and my children prosper. And,” he added gently, “I know in the future all will be well. Because you will be the new lion king.”

Simba: Kovu you are a very sweet lion i could ever had and i'm very sorry for exiling you without giving you a chance to explain and i'm glad that zira lied to you, plus i wish i had you stay in the pridelands.
